We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as an Attack Surface ManagementInfrastructure Testing Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing Tenable VM to assess, analyze, and mitigate security risks within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, hands-on experience with Tenable VM or other enterprise scanning solutions, and the ability to proactively identify and address vulnerabilities in our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Installation and Configuration:

  • Install and configure Tenable VM solutions, ensuring they align with organizational requirements.
  • Set up scanning policies, schedules, and credentials for vulnerability assessments.

Platform Maintenance:

  • Monitor the health and performance of the Tenable VM environment.
  • Apply patches, updates, and hotfixes to keep the system secure and up-to-date.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to scans, data collection, and reporting.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze scan results, identify vulnerabilities, and prioritize remediation efforts.
  • Generate KPI and KRI reports for stakeholders, highlighting critical findings and trends.

Integration and Automation:

  • Integrate Tenable VM with other security tools (SIEM, ticketing systems, etc.).
  • Automate repetitive tasks using scripting or APIs.

Best Practices and Training:

  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging threats.
  • Train other team members on Tenable VM usage and best practices.
  • Risk Analysis and Mitigation:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the business impact of identified vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with system administrators and IT teams to implement security patches and remediation measures.
  • Document and report findings, providing actionable recommendations for remediation.
  • Incident Response:
  • Provide support in incident response activities, particularly in analyzing and mitigating vulnerabilities related to security incidents.
     

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in tool administration for technologies like Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $130,000.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $150,000.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentive plans.
