Datavant is a distributed, remote-first team, and we empower Datavanters to shape their working environment in a way that suits their needs.As Chief Digital Officer you will be responsible for accelerating the pace of execution of our largest revenue generating business. Working side by side with payer operations and GTM executive team and reporting to our Chief Operations Officer for the payer business, you will turbo charge the operations ability to transform productivity capabilities and exceed client expectations. You will serve as the operations key leader to transform how our multiple retrieval distribution channels function, while identifying opportunities for efficiency within each and optimizing workflow across all services workflows. You will do this while designing and deploying innovative capabilities such as AI, NLP, automation and integrated offshoring strategies to optimize our pursuit of digital transformation within the enterprise.You will:Develop a clear and compelling digital integration strategy which enables current service operations to utilize new workflow technologies at scale.Create new value through the smart use of digital tools, platforms, and technologies.Build, manage, and continue to grow a digital innovation ecosystem.Own and monitor digital digital-innovation project portfolio specific to service operations.Design and execute new analytical workflow models.Partner with Operations leadership team to re-invent end to end workflows.Partner with Transformation team to implement new capabilities designed to automate and improve overall productivity across all Payer Services functions.Bring new and innovative thinking to analytical solutions enhancing our performance against KPIs including cost per chart and chart retrieval productivity.Serve as SME for technology transformation to drive improved system performance.Partner with IT product, engineering and support teams to identify and prioritize system enhancements to support productivity initiatives.Engage across the payer service operations team to build business cases supporting target return on investment.Implement new retrieval channel distribution scheduling capabilities.Integrate AI and automation capabilities within all call center functions.Optimize end to end offshore and onshore operations and technical requirements to drive improved efficiency and client satisfaction.Identify root causes for distribution process errors and implement short term and long term improvementsEstablish effective measurement capabilities to evaluate effectiveness of process improvementsEstablish call routing architecture to improve work flow accuracy for call centerReview and monitor performance trends for identification of continuous improvement opportunitiesImplement best practices and tools to optimize business operations across departments.Execute operational workflow optimizing retrieval channel distribution and address issues to ensure production goals are achieved.What you will bring to the table:You are known as an exceptional builder and launcher (of solutions, businesses, and teams) yet you are also capable as an operator and optimizer.You bring expert analytical and technological savvy to the table as a top expert in your fieldYou live in the data and technology system of our operations, walk the halls of internal and customer workflows at all levels of the business, and you deeply understand the data and process we are targeting to transform.You listen to internal and external stakeholders and convert their needs, pain points, and observations into solutions and process improvements.You have a knack for coaching and influencing across functional teams.You’re a world class communicator: you make compelling business propositions via conversation and presentation.You have strong relationship management skills: engaging, motivating, communicating and executing.You demonstrate high EQ across all situations and thrive in times of conflict to bring together common goals.You are a team player, humble with a focus on partnership across the organization.You celebrate team wins over individual success.You bring clear and pragmatic thinking to translate complexity into simple and actionable opportunitiesYou have demonstrated accomplishments showcasing your capabilities in large scale analytical planning with technical acumen and education within engineering, statistics, or data scienceYou have a proven track record of business planning and process management/improvement and transformationYou have a strong financial and business acumen, critical thinking, decision making abilitiesYou have strong communication skills, both verbal and written including executive presentation skillsAbility to work well in fast-paced changing environment and is comfortable with ambiguityAdvanced degree in business, technology or engineering preferred.Minimum of 10 years’ experience in healthcare information technology and servicesMinimum of 10 years’ experience within a complex operational environment coordinating multiple lines of business. Call center experience strongly preferred.Proven expertise in data science, technology transformation and leading end to end digital project implementationThis is a virtual position.
