Instructional Design Manager

Job Locations: Brazil, Remote

Functional Department: Content & Product Development

Position: Instructional Design Manager

Reports To: General Manager

Overview: Workforce Institute is a dynamic and innovative educational organization offering immersive online programs in Digital Marketing, UI/UX Design, Product Management, and AI/ML.

We are seeking a dedicated Instructional Design Manager who will collaborate seamlessly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and lead the charge in elevating the quality of our educational content. The primary objective will be to ensure a comprehensive and regular Content Quality Assurance process, overcoming past limitations in resources. Additionally, this manager will be responsible for conducting thorough curriculum analyses, aligning programs with industry standards, and driving a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities: include but are not limited to:

· Product Knowledge: Demonstrates a solid understanding of the program offered by the company, including its content, industry requirements, functionality, and competitive landscape.

· Market Research: Conduct market research to gather insights on customer needs, preferences, and market trends. Analyze data and customer feedback to inform content development and strategy.

· Subject Matter Experts Management: Recruit, train and supervise the SMEs to ensure that the content is being developed as per the commitment

· Content Development Roadmap: Ensure that the roadmap is followed with the dates from finalizing the outline to uploading the program on LCMS

· Stakeholder Communication: Communicate content updates, progress, and upcoming releases to internal teams and stakeholders. Address questions, concerns, and feedback related to the product..

· Content Documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides, and sometimes technical specifications, to ensure stakeholders have access to accurate and up-to-date information.

· Product Improvements: Work closely with the student services and keep an eye on the feedback from the students to ensure that any changes in the products are made on urgent basis.

· Quality Assurance: Detailed quality assurance for all the products before they are launched to ensure a seamless learning experience

Requirements:

Academic:

- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree.

Knowledge and Experience:

- 5+ years’ experience in curriculum development or related roles, ideally in the Education Sector

Competency Identifiers:

- Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Computer and Microsoft Office Applications.

- Language: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

- Product Knowledge: Demonstrates a solid understanding of the product or service offered by the company, including its features, functionality, and competitive landscape.

- Competitive Analysis: Conducts accurate and diligent competitive analysis to identify market trends, benchmark against competitors, and recommend strategies to maintain or improve the product's competitive position.

- Market Research: Conducts accurate and diligent market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends, and uses this information to inform product strategy and decision-making.

- Project Management: Effectively manages product development projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

- Communication: Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills to convey product vision, requirements, and updates to internal teams.

- User Experience (UX): Understands and advocates for a user-centered design approach, collaborating relevant stakeholders to ensure the product meets user needs and provides an optimal user experience.

- Market and Customer Knowledge: Strong understanding of the market landscape, industry trends, and customer behavior. The ability to conduct market research, gather customer insights, and translate them into actionable strategies and product requirements.

Pay: R$5,000.00 - R$5,800.00 per month
