Lead Artist About Us PLAYA3ULL GAMES starts with professional game developers producing fun to play PC based games. Then we allow you, the gamer, to own all your in-game assets through NFTs stored on the 3ULL blockchain. Prizes and rewards are paid out in 3ULL coins. What You'll Do We’re looking for a talented, full-time, Lead Artist to join our team. As the Lead Artist, you will work closely with our teams of designers and engineers to help develop the artistic vision of our game portfolio, help set up and optimize our overall art pipeline from the top-down and the bottom-up, and guide the teams as our projects progress. In this role, you will Help translate ideas into concepts, 2D, and immersive 3D experiences Help to establish and build an efficient art production pipeline Build and maintain schedules to ensure successful, on time, release of content Help scope and schedule the desired work Be responsible for final delivery, and quality control in accordance with the project's artistic direction, technical restrictions, and deadlines Create a working environment friendly and constructively for cross-team collaboration, ensuring a productive internal workflow In collaboration with the Director of Game Development, evaluate staffing requirements and be involved in the artists’ recruitment process What We're Looking For A passion for making games and an eagerness to collaborate with the team to make the best games we can A wealth of 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation experience and proficiency with either Blender or Maya Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently Minimum 8+ years of game development experience You have the deep understanding of art fundamentals (lighting, composition, architecture, anatomy, proportion), artistic culture (photography, movies, books, comics), and video game culture Experience with polygonal retopology, optimization, and LOD creation Experience with asset pipeline, integrating 3D models, and textures into both Unity and Unreal Well-versed in games and the ability to articulate what is strong/weak about the design of existing games A core lead credit in at least two games that have been successfully shipped You have an eye for the global market, player behavior, and international trend aesthetics You have a strong interest in game development, have an extensive understanding of games in multiple genres and across all types of platforms, and have working knowledge of industry required art software You have great mastery of diverse art styles, are open-minded, and receptive to new ideas and fresh perspectives This is not a pure strategy or totally management biased role; we are an agile global team who are all hands on and we encourage a culture of personal responsibility, problem solving and getting in and resolving issues.
