In this position the Portfolio Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the current portfolio that
consists of multi-family, storage, light industrial, retail and boutique hotel. The portfolio property
manager is responsible for maintaining the portfolio operations and performing property
management functions. These functions range from, but not limited to, coordinating leasing and
marketing efforts, approving move-in and move-out files, lease renewals, property software
management, resident and tenant relations, assist managing CAPEX renovations, site visit, repairs and
maintenance oversight and coordination and accounts receivable collections.
The Portfolio Property Manager oversees an assistant manager and maintenance engineer team as is responsible for
coordinating, managing and leveraging the team to achieve results.

* Comprehend legal documents and carry out related lease management.
* Demonstrated understanding of property operations.
* Provide excellent customer service to residents and tenants.
* Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts in a positive and timely manner.
* Have the ability to create property budgets based on actuals and or like kind properties in the
portfolio.
Education and Experience
* Yardi and Rent Caf experience required
* A high school diploma or equivalent is required
* Bilingual English-Spanish preferred
* Reliable transportation and CA valid drivers license required with valid insurance
* Minimum 5 years experience working within a property management role overseeing multiple
properties and or product types
* Real estate license preferred but not required
* Competency with Microsoft Office suite
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Drivers license required
* Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
* Regular, consistent and timely attendance is required
Responsibilities
* The Portfolio Property Manager supports and participates with asset management to achieve the
property goals and budgets.
* Responds to resident and tenant requests promptly. With diligent follow-up to confirm that the issues
have been resolved in a timely manner.
* Assists with marketing efforts for all product types in the portfolio.
* Assist in preparing and reviewing all paperwork specific to new and renewal lease agreements. Is
responsible for processing, completing, and maintaining accurate property management files, both
digitally and hard copy at move-in/out and at each recertification within established office guidelines.
