EndereçoThe Regional Pricing Specialist – Americas is part of the global Robotics Commercial & Pricing Excellence organization with the primary role to support the global and local Robotics business and sales organization to define and execute effective pricing strategies and policies in a variety of markets and segments. The preferred locations for this role are USA, Canada, Mexico or Brazil. Your responsibilities Provide pricing expertise to the countries and business lines to develop effective pricing policies. Contribute to the development and implementation of the global RO vision for pricing excellence. Help drive ‘how to price better†quotient with the local organizations and support in improving the pricing maturity within the region. Analyze quotes/deals/opportunities, provide constructive and multi-dimensional view of the pricing impact and suggest ways to improve profitability Be a key part of identifying and designing price improvement projects and drive the implementation and roll-out of key methods and tools with vari-ous business lines and countries in the region. Engage and work with the local organizations to understand the current pain points that prevent them from achieving their pricing goals and seek to resolve them within the global framework. Assess pricing metrics and price-related data from a variety of sources and use it to derive insights into pricing strategies, policies and performance as well as forecasting impacts and estimating customer willingness to pay. Bring an outside-in view to the pricing function and help support the local organizations to understand the nuances of pricing. Keep abreast of market conditions in the region, understand their impact on our price position and apply the learnings to effectively support the local sales teams Effectively communicate, persuade, and motivate the organization to change behaviors and make value-based pricing an integral part of our operating model Support, contribute and in some cases lead internal pricing initiatives. Your background University degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering or similar field. Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing management or related field with a proven track record of creating tangible impact. In-depth expertise with state-of-the-art pricing methods and tools. Experience in B2B price management in the Robotics/Automation or similar industry strongly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skill to persuade and engage people across multiple functions and geographies. Significant understanding of list prices, costs, margins, discounting models, price agreements, etc Experience of successfully operating in a large complex, global multinational. Ability to quickly understand and learn the as-is processes within the pricing function.
