About the role

Is the lead for the region`s divisional HCP education strategy across the Healtchare ecosystem . Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for customers. Coordinates and collaborates with the Global and other region`s professional education teams to learn and leverage best practices, training programs, materials, content etc, while being able to contextualize for Latin American realities. Determines metrics of impact as well as methodology to achieve the target impact. Is the lead for the regional education program`s sessions execution, while being the key partner and support for the train-the-trainer hand off to countries and the local execution of the country level education programs. Will search, evaluate, and recruit HCP trainers with technical and skill expertise as course faculty.  Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date. Will be key in vetting learner candidates for regional programs to ensure alignment of right programs, right faculty, right learner, and right follow up.

Your responsibilities will include.

  • Leads divisional professional education strategy for short and long term therapy adoption based on marketing`s key therapy / product strategies.
  • Manage divisional customer education programs through implementation of strategy, delivery of objectives and execution of logistics while effectively working with stakeholders.
  • Estimates and plans for budgetary requirements to execute all proofed programs.
  • Able to plan full multi-module blended program detailing budget and resource requirements, including collaborators, samples, models, ex-vivo tissue, equipment, location, materials, faculty, AV tools, etc. and to execute these programs while collaborating with BSC members as part of the program`s support team.
  • Ensures consistency in Boston Scientific branding guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with divisional key customers, internal and external, serving as a liaison between key educational opinion leaders and Boston Scientific programs.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with divisional global partners as well as regional education leads, in order to share best practices, and leverage global and other regional programs and content towards the goal of best in class educational programs.

 

Required Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience executing marketing and/or education strategies in healthcare.

Understanding of the Education Healthcare ecosystem of Latin America, with at least 5 years of experience working based in any Latam country.

Knowledge and exposure to the Latin America region. Awareness and understanding of its challenges and opportunities.

Insights Driven to adjust education programs to increase impact through therapy adoption.

Ability to connect and collaborate with Global and other region`s Education team to bring / share best practices looking to leverage resources.

Lead execution of education programs roll-out; from needs assessment, budgetary planning, collaborator coordination, logistics, faculty relations, to the course details to ensure positive learner experience.

Manage strong partnerships with country teams to ensure ProfEd strategy and programs execution.

Strong communication skills to bridge technical and clinical perspectives.

Ability to think strategically, execute programs, and to adapt to evolving technologies that improve the course experience.

Proven leadership skills to motivate and influence teams that do not report directly to the role across Latam.

Proficient in finance to build budgetary requirements for program execution.

Full proficiency in the Spanish or Portuguese language and very high proficiency in English.

Able to work in a structured “PMO style” scheme for yearly plans, and coordinate multiple programs, while passionate about participating as a hands-on workshop collaborator.

This position will be hired in any of these countries: Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil or Chile.
