Title : Regional Business Manager (Heavy Equipment)

Location : Remote from home – MUST LIVE WITHIN Territory -OH, MI, IL, ID, MO, WI, ND, SD, MI

Reports to : VP of Sales

LiuGong Construction is looking for a Regional Business Manage r- Construction Equipment to join our fast-growing team. LiuGong North America, a subsidiary of Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co, LTD., is located in Katy, Texas. Globally headquartered in China, LiuGong manufactures heavy construction machinery and forklifts for material handling. Currently, we seek a Region Sales Manager to join our team of highly motivated individuals .

Regional Business Manager- North CentralUS position is a remote position located within the region of responsibility sited above.Sponsorship is not offered.

Major Responsibilities

Primarily responsible is new dealer development and existing dealer development for assigned region. This includes direct end-user customer sales calls with dealership sales team. Other duties include, but not exclusive:

Job Requirements/Responsibilities

  • Applicants must be personable, strategic minded and have Dealer development experience in the construction industry.
  • Leads Revenue Generation and Management efforts in assigned region for Machine and Parts sales through the following activities: Manages and executes the Dealer development process to include networking, prospecting, qualifying, interviewing, contract negotiation and proposal strategy to generate interest in becoming a Dealer;
  • Identifies new Dealer/business opportunities to grow sales and develop new market segments that complement the company’s mission and goals;
  • Builds and works a large sales pipeline through cold call activity and networking;
  • Meets with prospects to determine interest level and qualifications to become a LiuGong Dealer;
  • Dealer/Contract development and execution by proactively identifying business opportunities, developing, negotiating and closing new dealers;
  • Develops and maintains new dealer development planning program that provides business leaders with measurable goals, objectives, strategies, tactics, programs, and other pertinent information on perspective new dealers;
  • Works closely with the Sales Management, Product Managers and Territory Managers to develop regions and manages handover of new dealers to Territory Managers;
  • Participation in trade association meetings and represents the company to promote the LiuGong name and products;
  • Builds relationships with dealers in the territory to maximize the dealer success in the areas of sales, service, parts and rental for the contracted product;
  • Create and execute action plans to meet product goals, sales goals and strategies established by management;
  • Provide assistance to product support team to resolve field issues;
  • Manage the prospecting and appointment of new dealers in the territory
    • Analyze open territories;
    • Narrow focus and request business plans from top candidates
    • Responsible for coordinating all new dealer launch activities
  • Marketing responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Industrial Distribution or other related field
  • Knowledge of business principles and concepts
  • Minimum 5 years-experience in sales in construction equipment
  • Proficient in English (written and oral); Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
