OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Sales Development Manager to join our Revenue
department.
As a Sales Development Manager, you will have the chance to actively manage a group of Sales Development Representatives focusing on developing talent and driving the team to exceed its sales goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
1+ years of direct management of a high-performing software sales or SaaS Sales development (Sales Development) or sales team or 2+ years of exceeding quota in a high-volume sales role, working with SMB and/or mid-market customersAnalytical in nature (our clients and partners are all in an ROI driven industry), with a track record of using data to drive strategic decision makingExcellent writing, communication and presentation skillsBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceAbility to work in US business hours (Eastern Time)Full professional proficiency in English (Fluent Level)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Sales Development Manager on our Sales Development team, you will:
Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of messaging and prospecting tactics of your team using an evolving set of objective and subjective KPIsLeverage understanding of messaging, prospecting tactics and KPIs to coach and train reps to better position them to hit weekly/monthly/quarterly goalsMeet and exceed your team’s targets while iterating upon a scalable process to achieve long term growthProvide leadership and direction for a team of 8+ Sales development representatives in the SMB and mid-market segmentCoach and assist the Sales Development team to source and engage with high priority prospects while understanding the buyer personas and their industryContribute thought leadership, ideas and perspective within sales leadership conversations and meetings while also positively influencing SDRs and the greater sales teamHolds self and others accountable to commitments and high standardsWork closely with other Sales leadership to improve alignment between Sales and Sales Development, performance of individual SDRs and operational efficiencyTakes a collaborative approach to coaching and managing to encourage SDRs to take ownership of their own performance and career trajectoryCollaborate with marketing, client success, client operations, product, and business operations teams on cross-functional initiatives to drive company growthParticipate in development of internal and external messaging, including iteration of value propositions and objection handling for the Sales development teamDevelop and lead training on a weekly basis to reinforce best practices
