Currently migrating current stack (Laravel, PHP, Mongo) to Node.Js and AWS.
❗❗ Description:
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and AWS. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in hexagonal architecture and experienced with managing code in a monorepo setup. You will be instrumental in developing robust backend systems and APIs that power our innovative products.
❗❗ Your Responsibilities:
esign and develop scalable, maintainable backend services using Node.js and AWS.
Adhere to and advocate for best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability.
Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate APIs and services seamlessly.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
Contribute to the adoption of hexagonal architecture to ensure our codebase is modular, scalable, and easy to maintain.
Work within a monorepo environment, managing dependencies and ensuring consistency across different parts of the project.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, and provide support and solutions to technical issues.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development, and be willing to explore new tools and practices to enhance our products and workflows.Transformation Logic: Develop efficient and robust transformation logic to convert raw data into the required format for the new transactional system. Optimize performance by identifying bottlenecks and streamlining the ETL pipeline.
Refactoring: Revise the existing SQL codebase for improved maintainability, performance, and ease of rerunning. Implement best practices, modularize code, and enhance error handling.
Iterative Approach: Design the process to be iterative, allowing us to adapt to changing requirements and continuously improve the quality of our data outputs.
❗❗ Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Node.js and AWS.
Familiarity with hexagonal (ports and adapters) architecture and its implementation in complex systems.
Experience with managing code in a monorepo setup, and understanding the benefits and challenges associated with it.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for sharing knowledge and working together to solve challenges.
A continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Nice to have experience with MongoDB, including schema design, querying, and optimization.
