As a Railway Engineer: Review railway projects, conduct safety analyses Prepare budgets, and provide project cost and timeline estimates. Manage projects from start to finish, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You’ll also communicate with stakeholders. Temporary position. Degree in Mechanical Engineering (with active CREA); Minimum of 8 years of experience in subways; Experience in the preparation of basic, executive projects and interfaces between systems; Familiar with CENELEC 50126 Standards, for specification and demonstration of reliability, availability, maintainability and safety (RAMS); Experience in preparing technical documentation, calculation memorials, drawings, studies and others; Knowledge and experience with the following systems for subways: Escalators, Elevators, Pumps (Fire / Consumption / Drainage / Infiltration / Sewage), Fire Detection, Main Ventilation - Stations and Tunnels, Air Conditioning / Ventilation of Technical and Operational Rooms and Signaling of Escape Routes; Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders (national and foreign), including team members, project managers and clients; Synthesis and presentation ability for teams and senior management; Have problem solving as a strong point and be able to identify and solve technical problems efficiently and friendly among the parties; Experience in project management, including project planning, team coordination and meeting deadlines; Must have experience with industry relevant software, such as BIM, electrical system simulation software, CAD and MSProject. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating and communicating well with colleagues. Fluent/Advanced English Desirable:Desirable: Fluent Spanish; MBA or Master’s in the area of Railway Engineering or Transportation; Familiar with Safety Analysis and Demonstrations; Experience in project management, including project planning, team coordination and meeting deadlines; Proof of experience through Professional Technical Collection registered in CREA.
