What are we looking for?
A SOCIAL COORDINATOR who lives in MINAS GERAIS (PARACATU) to carry out the tasks necessary to meet the objectives of the ESG area in Brazil.
What do we expect from you?
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree required: Environmental engineering, Social Sciences, Geography, Social Work, Community Development, Political Studies, or related fields.
- Minimum Experience: 5+ years of exposure in construction environments and stakeholder engagement experience
- Background in infrastructure projects managing social risks
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding performance goals
- Must have documented successful partnership cultivation experience and a keen understanding of the purpose and value of disclosure
What will your challenges be?
Implement Atlas's social programs at the project level, including social communication, environmental education, community health and safety, and Atlas's female workforce program, “We are All Part of the Same Energy,” among others.
Develop and implement Atlas' Corporate Social Responsibility Plans at the project level and cultivate strategic relationships through community outreach activities.
Implement Stakeholder Engagement Plans and other social programs in compliance with IFC Performance Standards.
Manage social risks and impacts of Atlas projects and develop avoidance, mitigation, and compensation plans as needed.
Disclose relevant information to stakeholders, including community members, local authorities, local leaders, contractors, and financing banks, in methods that consider the audience's level of education, language, and interest.
Receive any community feedback, including grievances, complaints, or reports, and support the resolution of these with the appropriate Project staff.
Lead the project's Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Interface regularly with the Project leadership, including the Atlas Project Manager and EPC/O&M Project Manager, as well as the Atlas Head of ESG.
Manage social consultancies and third parties related to the area working for the project.
Manage project-level Communications and Marketing activities, such as the project's website, social initiative videos, etc.
