As an Experienced Field Service Engineer, your role is pivotal in engaging with customers at a deep technical level, fostering trust, and driving investments in Honeywell solutions. Beyond customer interactions, you will play a crucial part in elevating the competence of the Field Service Engineer team, instilling best practices, and contributing both internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
- - Support and coach local Field Service Engineers, ensuring customer value through troubleshooting, executing deliverables, and promoting new products and promotions. Establish best practices.
- - Drive growth by showcasing the added value of Honeywell’s upgrades, new products, promotions, and automation plans, utilizing your technical expertise.
- - Occasionally perform hands-on work at customer sites (excluding projects)
- - Manage service orders (SPOT) deliverables, including small projects.
- - Contribute to building the local Field Service Engineer team's competence through planning and coaching.
- - Support sales by providing estimates on labor activities and installed base.
- - Promote and ensure a local safety culture among Field Service Engineers.
- - Maintain a relationship with GES for outsourcing packaged work.
- - Be part of the On-call team as relevant to your skills.
- - Work closely with FSM (Field Service Manager) and SOLs (Service Operation Leaders)..
Tasks: The role encompasses various tasks aligned with the above responsibilities and is relevant to the overall purpose of the job.
Location and Travel:
- - Based in our Mölndal office.
- - Travel to customer sites on occasion (approximately 20%).
Education:
- - M.Sc. or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Automation & Control Engineering or another relevant field.
Experience:
- - Over 10 years of hands-on experience in the DCS field within the Honeywell service organization.
Competence:
- - Broad understanding of Honeywell’s automation solutions, encompassing both DCS and QCS environments. Deep specific knowledge in relevant areas.
- - Fluent in speaking and writing in both Swedish and English.
- - Driver’s license B.
