EndereçoBrunel is looking for an Applications Engineer for one of our clients, a leading well control technology company that designs, manufactures and provides innovative wellhead and pressure control equipment and services, in Rio de Janeiro:
Duties include :
- Engage with customers and field teams to thoroughly understand the benefits and use cases of the company’s technologies and product lines
- Craft compelling technical marketing content such as white papers, presentations, blogs, demos, competitive positioning, and customer success stories to communicate the value of the company products and systems
- Collaborate with multi-functional partners on go-to-market planning and execution
- Work with product management and engineering to ensure customer success
- Coordinate with internal PR resources and external outlets on publication and promotion of technical marketing content
- Complete basic technical calculations, analysis, interface checks, and assembly drawings as well as assembly and test procedures.
- Prepare and present technical training materials
- Support Supply Chain and Operations departments during commissioning and installation of new and existing products.
- Participate in mechanical design review activities for various products.
- Drive engineering excellence through continual improvement to departmental processes, procedures, best practice, technical standards, calculations and reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- Significant experience
- Knowledge of engineering statics/dynamics, solid mechanics, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics;
- Knowledge of offshore drilling and offshore drilling BOP equipment
- Experience with subsea BOP systems and their controls
- Proven problem solving and creative thinking ability as well as product design experience;
- Experience using 3D CAD software; Inventor preferred, Solidworks acceptable.
- Highly efficient user of Microsoft Office product suite;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong written and spoken English
