Overview:

The Bid Services department at Alstom is responsible for providing support to the company's bidding and proposal processes. This area works closely with sales, engineering, and production departments to prepare and present technical commercial proposals to clients worldwide.

The objective of the Bid Services department is to ensure that proposals are delivered to clients with the highest quality and within established deadlines. They achieve this by managing the bidding process from conception to proposal closure. This department also coordinates analysis of tender documents and client requirements, helps prepare the company's bidding strategy, and ensures the quality of the final product, including financial and technical analysis of the project.

Bid Services professionals possess skills in project management, data analysis, commercial and technical strategies, good communication, and teamwork. They are highly qualified and have an overview of Alstom's operations. The Bid Services department is critical to Alstom's success in new business and projects with clients worldwide.

 

Specific responsibilities of the role: 

  • Prepare, lead and manage costing and pricing aspects of a tender
  • Costing consolidation and cost challenge
  • Deal with processes and department routines

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience
  • Recently graduated or studying the last period of Engineering at a recognized school
  • Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office
  • Language skills –
