Responsible for Application Development and Maintenance related to Big Data systems for one of the biggest Telecom carriers in Brazil.
What will your job look like?
- Perform support activities for Big Data project.
- Monitor production environment and batch status.
- Handle production issues (Tier 1,2,3 support). Resolve production issues and ensure SLAs are met.
- Investigate and solve incidents and defects.
- Should be ok with rotational shift on weekends.
All you need is...
Mandatory:
- Superior Degree completed in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Advanced/Fluent English for communication;
- Clear understanding of Hadoop ecosystem;
At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in:
- Hive, HBase, HDFS
- SQL or PL/SQL
- Unix, Shell scripting
- Spark, Pyspark
- Knowledge of schedulers like ControlM;
Availability to work in shift: Monday to Friday from 2 to 11 PM (Brazil time).
Availability for on-calls on weekends on a rotational base.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of Kafka and Golden gate.
