As a BMS Project Manager at Honeywell, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to budget constraints. You will lead a multifaceted team including project coordinators, application engineers/programmers, subcontractors, and project check-out teams. Your responsibilities will span high-paced projects managed remotely for various global customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Customer-Centric Excellence: Deliver an exceptional customer experience through effective utilization of Honeywell solutions.
- Resourceful Management: Skillfully manage internal, external resources, aligning skills with project needs.
- Project Execution Mastery: Define critical path, ensure timely phases, troubleshoot issues, and maintain scope adherence.
- Budget Efficiency: Develop, monitor budgets, ensuring cost-effective project execution.
- Stakeholder relationships: including effective communication, ‘expectation bridging’ and coordination of subcontractors
- Change Control Leadership: Take ownership of change requests, encompassing scope, and budget changes.
- Standards Adherence: Ensure compliance with client-defined standards and processes.
- Issue Prioritization: Efficiently prioritize issue resolution, holding or escalating as required.
- Optimal System Performance: Oversee installations to align with customer expectations.
- Pre-Sales Collaboration: Contribute insights to pre-sales estimate reviews for accurate project scoping and involvement in estimation and proposal creation.
- Technical Supervision: Oversee technical documentation, preparation, and programming.
- Training & Documentation Assurance: Ensure comprehensive training and timely document delivery.
- Financial Milestone Management: Measure, approve project financial milestones, maintaining fiscal control.
Qualifications:
- Project Management/Engineering experience within building automation.
- Experience within construction would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in project management principles and processes.
- Strong financial acumen encompassing cost analysis, forecasting, and variance.
- Effective cross-functional communication skills, collaborating seamlessly with program teams and sponsors.
