As a CTO, you'll play a key role in overseeing the technological strategy, direction, and implementation of technology initiatives. The primary role of a CTO is to align technology and innovation with the organisation's business goals and objectives. They are responsible for identifying and evaluating new technologies, managing technical teams, making decisions on technology investments, ensuring the security and scalability of the technology infrastructure, and driving innovation within the organisation. Come shape the future of business engagement with us at Coretava → Responsibilities: Technology Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and communicate the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company's platform, aligning it with the organisation's business goals and market opportunities. Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices specific to SaaS and B2B e-commerce, and evaluate their potential impact on the company's offerings. Define the technical architecture, infrastructure, and integration strategies to support a scalable, secure, and high-performing e-commerce platform. Technology Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage the technology department, including software engineers, developers, infrastructure specialists, and other technical professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the technology team. Provide guidance and mentorship to technical team members, ensuring their professional development and growth. SaaS Platform Development and Management: Oversee the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the company's platform, ensuring it meets the needs of customers and delivers a seamless user experience. Collaborate closely with product management and business stakeholders to define product features, prioritise development efforts, and ensure timely delivery of releases. Monitor platform performance, scalability, and security, and implement measures to optimise and enhance the SaaS infrastructure. Integration and Interoperability: Drive integration strategies to enable seamless connectivity and data exchange between the SaaS platform and third-party systems, such as ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and logistics providers. Ensure smooth integration with external APIs and data feeds to support B2B e-commerce workflows, order management, inventory synchronisation, and other relevant processes. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for SaaS integrations and interoperability. Security and Compliance: Develop and implement robust security measures to protect the SaaS platform, customer data, and transactions, adhering to industry best practices and compliance requirements. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential risks. Stay informed about data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, and ensure the company's compliance with relevant data protection laws. Technology Partnerships and Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, solution providers, and outsourcing partners to leverage their expertise, tools, and services. Collaborate with external partners to drive innovation, explore new technologies, and enhance the company's SaaS platform and e-commerce capabilities. Negotiate contracts and agreements with technology vendors, ensuring cost-effective solutions and favourable terms. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Collaborate closely with the executive team, including the CEO, CMO, VP of Sales and VP of Growth to align technology initiatives with business strategies, revenue goals, and customer requirements. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing updates on technology initiatives, performance metrics, and future plans. Represent the company in technology-related discussions with clients, industry partners, and at relevant conferences and events. Product-led Growth Mindset: Prioritising the continuous improvement of the product to meet customer needs and deliver value, often through iterative development, data-driven decision-making, and a customer-centric approach. A mindset that fosters a culture of cross-functional collaboration, where teams work together to align efforts around product strategy and objectives. Focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences and continuously learning and adapting to market dynamics, organisations can drive long-term success and achieve scalable growth through their products. → Education: A minimum of BSc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any similar field. Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in technology leadership roles within the SaaS industry and B2B e-commerce domain. In-depth knowledge of SaaS architecture, B2B e-commerce platforms, cloud computing, and related technologies. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, agile practices, and product management principles. Proficiency in the English language. → K nowledge and Experience: Experience in managing and leading technical teams, including software engineers, developers, and infrastructure specialists. Familiarity with e-commerce standards, protocols, and integrations, such as REST APIs, EDI, and XML. Solid understanding of security best practices, data privacy regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to SaaS and e-commerce. Experience with large-scale architectural patterns, event-driven micro-services, well designed API's and efficient algorithms. NodeJs, Typescript, MangoDB, and Micro-services. Source control (GIT) and bug tracking systems. Full knowledge of front side platforms such JAVA, HTML5 and CSS3 → Skills & Abilities: Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to think strategically, make informed decisions, and manage resources effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Teamwork management and delegation ability, and ability to execute other team members' ideas flawlessly. Project Management. Communication and interpersonal skills, and remote Management.
