Commissioning Coordinator

We are now looking for a Commissioning Coordinator to join in our Project team in Itajaí/SC, Brazil. In this position, you will report to the General Manager, Systems in Wärtsilä, and also to the Project Manager.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing commissioning plans with an emphasis on controlling the schedule of services assigned to her; contributing to the smooth running of planned activities, and supporting team leadership.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, both externally and internally.
• Ensure that all requirements related to the process are executed with quality, in accordance with the rules, and within the established deadlines.

Expectations regarding the acquisition of knowledge:

• About the structure of the shipyard, especially about its commissioning organization
• About the systems and equipment included in the scope of supply
• About the organizational structure of the project and Wärtsilä concerning commissioning services
• About contracts between Wärtsilä and customer
   

Basic requirements:

• Experience with electrotechnical installations in ships:
• Power generation and distribution

1. ship automation
2. lighting

• Experience in planning commissioning procedures
• Knowledge of the structure and procedures of electrotechnical installation work
• Knowledge of occupational safety 
• Ability to work in a team 
• Leadership talent
• Stakeholder management
