Content Specialist role in the Financial Market Research group. Possesses niche knowledge in a defined Financial Markets area, has sophisticated level knowledge of company product(s) and workflows.

Uses domain expertise to build and maintain existing databases as well build future databases. Advises internal and external partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a main contact and give technical presentations on area of expertise.
  • Facilitate problem solving on data & product issues, including database infrastructure and maintain procedures.
  • Validate business requirements for new projects.
  • Lead & coordinate research efforts involving multiple data sets.
  • Represent content groups & asset classes in projects or discussions with internal & external customers.
  • May be involved with global Content Operations projects.
  • Prepare & present formal reports of recommendations, establishing agreements, service level agreements, implementations, monitoring & testing.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with customers, suppliers, consultants, and technical staff in resolving requirements for improvements, cleanse activities, studies and project initiatives.
  • Share a point of view and creativity in developing new methods of working which focus on cost effectiveness & resource efficiency.
  • Translate external market policies, rules & events into internal the Company technical and operational requirements, maintaining a current awareness of the marketplace.
  • Communicate external developments internally.
  • Clearly explain data flow, maintenance processes end to end, and impact of quality/technical issues on mid /end-users.
  • Ensure documentation on workflows & practices is up to date and consistent.
  • Negotiate resources to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
  • Ensure client requirements are considered and help production teams to achieve desired results.
  • Ensure awareness of customer views on content & recommend improvements/escalate problems as needed.
  • Build new content quality checks and perform value added analytics across groups to improve efficiencies.
  • Communicate optimally with other the Company employees and external agencies to improve the quality of content.
  • Detail local and global procedures.
  • Design, plan and conduct training modules for Analysts.

Experience and Skills

  • Degree in finance or economics or Industry qualifications preferred: CFA, master’s in finance, MBA.
  • Strong phenomenal teammate who can provide support to the team.
  • Calm and self-assured.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker and good sales ideation skills
