The Customer Support Specialist is the first point of contact for all customers and business partners of the ABB Installation Products business (ELIP) in North America. Reporting to the ELIP Customer Service Manager and using your customer service skills and knowledge, you will aid the ELIP business unit team by reacting to customer inquiries.This role supports ABB's Electrification Installation Products division located in Memphis, TN.

Your responsibilities

• Deliver effective solutions to customers with order-related queries by coordinating with internal resources to resolve the issue.
• Monitor the status of orders.
• Ensure that inquiries are resolved and aid in any necessary escalation.
• Ensure a positive customer experience by giving regular updates and clarification.
• Observe the overall process and trends across inquiries and identify improvement areas.

Your background

• 3 plus years of experience in customer service, working as a customer service representative with respect to the electrical industry market.
• An agile and proactive approach, with a demonstrated ability to take ownership of customer issues.
• Knowledge of principles and practices in customer service.
• Knowledge of SAP Torque a plus, Salesforce .com, all Microsoft software such as Outlook, Excel, Word etc.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
• A High School Diploma BBA preferred in Customer Operations.
• English as the primary/first language.
