What You'll Do

As a partof BCG X’s Analytics and Automation (A&A) team, you will workcloselywithconsultingteams on a diverse rangeofadvancedanalyticstopics. You will havetheopportunitytoleverageanalyticalmethodologiestodelivervaluetoBCG's Consulting (case) teams and Practice Areas (domain) throughprovidinganalyticssubject matter expertise, and acceleratedexecution support. 

You will collaboratewithcaseteamstogatherrequirements, specify, design, develop, deliver and support analyticsolutionsservingclientneeds. You will providetechnical support throughdeeperunderstandingof relevant dataanalyticssolutions and processestobuild high quality and efficientanalyticsolutions. Yourresponsibilities will include: 

• Delivering original analysis and insightstocaseteams, typicallyowning all orpartof an analyticsmodulewhilstintegratingwith a caseteam 
• Establishingcredibilitybythoughtpartneringwithcaseteams on analyticstopics; drawingconclusions on a rangeof external and internal issuesrelatedtoyourmodule 
• Executinganalyticalapproach and creatingdefinedoutcome; contributingtoapproachselectionfocussing on problemsolving and clientvalueaspects 
• Applyinganalytical, statistical and programmingskills, buildingmodels, creatingalgorithms and usingappropriatetoolstodiscoverknowledgefrom a varietyof large and versatile datasources 
• Wrappingtheoutcomesofanalysisintoready-to-usesoftwaremodules / minimal viable products / dashboards 
• Training theproject and clientteams on advancedanalyticsapproach in generalaswellas on applicationofparticulartools and methodstoincreasetheimpactoftheirwork 
• Communicatinganalyticalinsightsthrough sophisticated synthesis and packagingofresults (including PPT slides and charts) withconsultants; collecting, synthesizing, analysingcaseteamlearning & inputsintonewbestpractices and methodologies 
• Developingbroadexpertise in at least oneanalyticstopicorplatform 

YOU’RE GOOD AT 

Youshouldbe strong in analyticalsolutioningwithhands-on experience in advancedanalyticsdelivery, throughtheentirelifecycleofanalytics. Strong analyticsskillswiththeabilitytodevelop and codifyknowledge and provideanalyticaladvicewhererequired. 

Technical Skills (Musthave): 

• Experience in Business Analytics, Predictive Modeling, Machine Learning orOptimization 
• Proficiency in Data Cleansing, Data Transformation and Data Modelling 
• Overall fluency in Python: abilitytoread, create, debug and package code, beingcomfortableusingeitherofJupyter, Pycharm, Visual Studio oranyother IDE 

• Data wranglingwith Python (pandas, numpy, etc.), hands on experiencewithdatavisualizationusingchartingtools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc. 
• SQL scripting, abilitytocollectdatafrom relational databases, e.g. PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Snowflake, etc. 
• Hands-on experience in dashboardingusingeitherof Tableau, PowerBIorQlikSense 
• Self-learning and quick ramping in previouslyunfamiliartechnologicalstackifneeded 

Nice tohavetechnicalskillsbeyondthat: 

• Experience in GenAI, programmaticallyusingChatGPTorother LLMs 
• Experience in buildingscalableproductionreadydashboards and web applicationsusing Dash, Streamlit, etc. 
• Experience withcollaborationwithin agile projects, being flexible toapply agile softwaredevelopmentpracticesthatmayvaryfromcasetocase, comfortableusingthetools like GitHub, Trello, Jira, Slack 
• Understanding of and hands-on experiencewithcontainerization and automateddeployment (Docker, K8s) 
• Experience withproprietarylow-code datawrangling, predictiveanalytics and modellingtools (eitherofAlteryx, Tableau Prep, Dataiku, SAS, SPSS, etc.) 
• Experience withcloudarchitectures (Azure, AWS, GCP) and machinelearningplatforms e.g. Azure ML, AWS Sagemaker 
• Experience with UI/UX Design
