The role WeWork is currently seeking a Data Analyst on our Data & Analytics team for LatAm. This is a full time position located preferably in São Paulo (hybrid work model). The LatAm Data & Analytics team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the data sources used by the operations teams (Sales, Finance, Marketing, Community, etc), for the development of the official reports that leadership consults to determine next steps for the company, as well as for the deep dives and analysis into the main issues of the business in order to support local leaders with a data-first approach. Therefore, Data Analysts are expected to bring a mix of hard skills mainly in SQL and Python which will be used in the data extraction models, some level of data visualization proficiency (currently done in Tableau), and a process/business mindset in order to understand what the company needs and how we can use data insights to help the teams optimize. Responsibilities

  • Being the Analytics Partner of a team within the company - Our Data Analysts are divided by the sector of the company that they will partner with (Sales, Finance, Marketing, etc). This position will be initially responsible for partnering with the community team on the ground in each building to understand how we can make our buildings more efficient and our members' experience the best possible.
  • Maintaining data sources and reports - Our information flows partially through a global datacenter and partially through local data centers / partner integrations. Our Data Analysts are responsible for modeling / reporting the information related to their sector for easy usage and for guaranteeing information consistency at all times
  • Suggesting and executing process improvements - With the knowledge of the data that exists regarding their sector along with the main pain points of our business, our Data Analysts can suggest improvements to processes that are currently done manually or in an inefficient manner, to improve speed and accuracy for all stakeholders.

You bring

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years of business experience, with + years of data experience preferred
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding goals as an individual contributor
  • Proven ability to work well with data in the real world - it won't be textbook tidy datasets!
  • Familiarity with automations and programming (SQL & Python are preferred but other languages accepted)
