About this role:
- Define, develop, and implement data management and analysis strategies, ensuring that these align with Rentcars' business goals and objectives both domestically and internationally;
- Manage and oversee the business intelligence, data engineering, and machine learning departments, providing leadership and guidance to the team;
- Serve as the main point of contact for relationships with external Data & Analytics vendors, including evaluating and proposing new partnerships as necessary;
- Lead and oversee data-driven initiatives at the national and international levels, working closely with Rentcars' management team;
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the company on data-driven decision-making and machine learning applications, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
- Conduct research and evaluate opportunities and risk factors related to business decisions and operations in the markets where Rentcars operates, using data-driven insights.Execute data and analytics risk management strategies, identifying potential risks and implementing measures to mitigate them;

- Implement and maintain best practices for data protection and privacy requirements, ensuring the company's compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
- Manage the internal data team and external Data & Analytics partners in relation to data-related projects and initiatives, providing guidance and support as needed.
A perfect match would have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field, with relevant certifications in data management and analysis;
- Proven track record as a Data & Analytics Manager in a business environment or at firms specialized in data science and analytics;
- Experience in effectively managing and executing data-driven projects, demonstrating a thorough understanding of data management, business intelligence, and machine learning applications;
- Familiarity or experience in e-Commerce will be highly valued;
- Fluent English is essential, with demonstrated experience in a corporate setting;
- Availability to work in-person at the Curitiba office is required.
