We're on the hunt for a new Lead Software Engineer for one of our Technology R&D teams working on the solution design, systems analysis, and programming activities. The position gives you a great view on how bug verification is performing, on release testing and support for assigned products.
This role will be focused on data management between many company product line source application databases to centralized data lake and warehouse models. The focus is on moving data to this new centralized Data and Business Intelligence platform. Some middle tier development and integration points over central API services to internal and outside partners.
This new platform will drive the internal company data capability areas like expanded BI and data science.

As part of our team, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Perform design, implementation and maintenance of product modules/sub-systems according to architecture, guidelines and good software engineering practice.
- Be responsible for product’s usability by designing user interfaces, creating use cases, implementing prototypes and conducting usability tests.
- Prepare technical documentation of product, creates user interface guidelines, and conducts reviews.
- Perform bug verification, release testing and support for assigned products. Researches problems discovered by validation or product support and develops solutions to the problems.
- Research and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues;Researches new technology or development tools to remain abreast of current technology;
- Perform code and design reviews to ensure good maintainability and bug free implementation of the product features.
- In the absence of the Software Architect, is capable to serve as the software architect in the areas of design and implementation in order to meet project objectives and documentation.
- Organize trainings and developer meetings for software engineers regularly; Develops improvements for software designing practices as needed
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing.
- Lead software developing effort and engages efficient and good co-operation between stakeholders (architects, POs, software designers, validation, product management, customers etc other stakeholders)
- Coach and mentors software engineers
- Help and train fellow developers to work with new product components / modules, to follow company coding practices and architectural guidelines.
You’ll need to bring :
- M.Sc/B.Sc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems.
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- High level of Python proficiency
- High level of SQL proficiency
- Data ETL/ELT experience from source data systems to central warehouse or data lake
Nice to have experience :
- Snowflake
- AWS Glue
- Rest based API integration
- Kafka messaging
- Oracle/SQL Server
- Data modeling
- OKTA
- User-oriented approach to software development;
- Willing to expand the skills by learning other technologies as needed;
- Important to be a team oriented person with a “can do” attitude.
