Key Skills- Data Center Manager
1. Carry out change management, problem management and responsible for reviews and closing changes and problems as per SLA
2. Tracking and reviews SLA of DC team and responsible for SLA achievement
3. Attending Daily, weekly and monthly meetings and reviews with customer
4. Responsible for DC governance reviews with customer
5. Handling DC related escalations and respond on time and make sure about positive customer experience
6. Co-ordination with multiple teams for DC related issues and topics
7. Responsible DC domain’s capacity management and timely reviews with customer
8. Planning, installation and support of the company’s physical computer infrastructure (hardware, systems software, networks, and backup systems)
9. To take overall responsibility for the security of Data Centre operations and ensure that appropriate controls are implemented
10. Responsible for recommended architecture and infrastructure changes, identifying the anticipated business benefits, together with the risks and consequences of failure to support infrastructure performance reporting.
11. Operations support that includes the entire IT infrastructure housed within the Data Center in 7x24 environment
12. Customer support responsibilities can include customers relations, responding to customer inquiries and coordinating with various vendors and OEM
13. Lead and supervise a team of Data Center Technicians which is installing, maintaining and decommissioning network and server hardware
14. Oversee the safety, security, availability, quality, and performance of the team, while driving a positive customer experience
15. Strategic planning and forecasting; manage team and individual performance; delivering performance reviews, and address staffing needs
16. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures
17. Mentor, train and develop career progression for direct reports and members of the organization
18. Obsess over team learning and development, both from a technical/functional and soft skills (critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and adaptability) development perspective
19. Having good knowledge/Understanding of DC Domains (Server, Network, storage, Backup & Database) and having expertise in one of the domain.
