WGSN, the world’s leading trend authority, is seeking a fluent English-speaking Digital Asset Analyst to assist our Digital Assets team with cataloguing, cropping, and quality control of trend images. The ideal candidate for this position will have an expert knowledge of the English language, clothing and accessory terminology - types of collars, sleeves, silhouettes, design details, etc, and basic knowledge of lifestyle and interiors terminology. This person should also be able to identify textile and materials such as distinguishing a suede jacket from a wool one and tell the difference between knits and wovens. A strong attention to detail is a must.
Key accountabilities
Work with the Digital Assets / Image Management team to perform quality assurance on every image that goes through our proprietary DAM (Digital Asset management) application
Keyword, crop, and colour tag a high volume of images to specific company standards.
Reliably monitor calendars to guarantee that deadlines are met
Proactively provide feedback for freelancers and others on the team
Achieve mastery of WGSN’s taxonomy; regularly check for any potential mistakes or issues
Perform other duties as assigned

Skills, experience & qualifications required
Fluent in the English language
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a fashion, design, textile, or interiors related field
Strong knowledge and understanding of fashion terminology and basic knowledge and understanding of interiors and textiles terminology
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Writing must be concise and grammatical
