The Electrical Design Engineer - String Testing oversees the Electrical design activity for assigned project inside the String Test cell. In the daily work He/she deliver (execute and control) all project documentation, such as drawings/ job documents/ specifications, relative to testing electrical system. He/she is also responsible of the technical supervision of Electrical works during commissioning phase on the field.

In is mission He/she also support #Decarbonization initiatives following programs and promoting #Digitalization of design activities, methodology and procedures.

As Electrical Design Engineer - String Testing you will be responsible for:

• Executing design, analysis, or technical evaluation using solid engineering principles adhering to business standards and product requirements.
• Executing and control documents / purchase specifications / drawings: Equipment Functional Design Specification; Equipment Design Requirement List; Equipment Data Sheet; Electrical Wiring diagram; Cabinet Layouts.
• Performing technical selection of electrical items (e.g. Electrical MV generators, Electrical MV motor, MV Variable Speed Drive Systems).
• Formulating functional purchase specifications/data sheet and close technical alignment of supplier technical proposals.
• Managing technical documentation during the engineering development phase following up with supplier and customer up to finalization.
• Assuring that technical documentation is issued according to project planning schedule.
• Providing Electrical System technical assistance and timely communications on significant issues coming from field commissioning phase.
• Assuring that Lesson Learned are captured in the assigned design.
• Participating on assigned team groups to address organizational initiatives / improvement programs and act as owner /presenter in technical reviews.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering subjects
• Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills
• Show ability to manage and oversees multiple projects/activities with high intensity
• Show ability to plan and lead cross functional programs
• Be an experienced problem solver, with analytical approach identifying root causes and implementing improvements solutions
• Display good knowledge of Electrical system integration for Turbo-machinery skid & commissioning operations, this is considered a plus
• Be fluent in English and Italian languages and be able to work in EU
