Job Description
Direct Procurement Specialist
Location: Uberlândia or São Paulo/SP
Responsible for delivery the company targets through negotiation with suppliers, generating savings in the portfolio, risk mitigation and sustainable results
• To act as business partner to BR/PY Team supporting them in their Strategy and Execution of the business plan.
• Provide local market information and international market trend.
• Negotiate commercial conditions and contracts, maintain relationships with current suppliers and prospect new ones, measure key performance indicators to guarantee Service Level Agreements, carrying out periodic reviews with a focus on meeting the defined goals.
• Develop and manage supplier relationship management - implementation of SRM process with strategic suppliers.
• Develop Sourcing Strategies for the key suppliers in the portfolio.
• Analysis of economic indexes to support, together with the controller, the construction of the budget and monitoring throughout the year.
• Manage risk with service providers in BR/PY, ensure compliance across all Direct Procurement activities.
• Guarantee compliance of the Brazil/PY Direct Procurement Policy, and usage of the established tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related courses;
• Experience in Direct Procurement (strategic category planning, strategic sourcing, negotiation, contract management and supplier relationship management).
• Desirable: from using MS Smart Sheets and Power BI, MS Teams & Excel
• Experience in Productivity, Efficiency Project Management
• Ability to transfer knowledge through writing policies, technical reports and training;
• Business ethics, SOX and corporate governance.
Desirable Experience with Agribusiness and strong interest in Syngenta's business (Seeds)
• Desirable profile and experience of collaboration in the search for innovation, creative solutions, automation and digitization of processes.
• Project Management and Continuous Improvement Analysis Tools ex PDCA, LEAN, Root Cause Analysis (desirable)
• Advanced English is required.
