Your role and responsibilities

The position is in a global R&D Team for the development of Mining Libraries and Simulation. You will be working together closely with a colleague in Brazil on Power Control Library, our digital application to monitor industrial electrical systems. The role includes a thorough onboarding into the skills needed to develop automation libraries. You have the mindset to built a good basis for to engineer solutions for our customers which are reliable, easy to use and according to international standards. This needs the ability to get into new topics fast, proven programming skills, and a solid basis in electrical engineering knowledge. You can work independently and you stay motivated with topics which need a long onboarding phase. Responsibilities: Assist in the development, testing and simulations of software libraries for automation and control for industrial electrical systems; Assist in the documentation and development of manuals and procedures for using automation and control programs for industrial electrical systems.

Qualifications for the role

  • Electrical engineering student (Emphasis in Automation and control/Emphasis on Electrical Energy and Automation/Emphasis in Energy System and Automation)
  • Advanced English level
