Leidos Defense Group has an immediate opening for a Finance and Business Operations Senior Analyst. This position is part of a large Military Intelligence Program supporting the USAF Air Combat Command's Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS). The Leidos Defense Group provides a diverse portfolio of systems, solutions, and services covering land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace for customers worldwide. Solutions for Defense include enterprise and mission IT, large-scale intelligence systems, command and control, geospatial and data analytics, cybersecurity, logistics, training, and intelligence analysis and operations support. Our team is solving the world's toughest security challenges for customers with "can't fail" missions. From scanning for illicit material at ports and borders to predicting future events and instability up to five years in advance, our products help customers make the world safer. In this role, you will be responsible for the financial aspects of programs in support of the DCGS-EPS program. As a key member of the program finance team, you will work directly with the program managers to help define each program's financial goals and objectives; create and maintain a program's budget, analyze progress reported against the program baseline; identify risks and opportunities against the program baseline; and recommend actions to improve progress to achieve flawless program execution. Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of all contract cost and financial data. Position supports program invoicing, reporting and funding deliverables as well as ECP development and submission. Position requires strong organization, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills. Successful candidate must evaluate, monitor and implement policies, practices and functional performance standards for the Bus Ops team. In addition, candidate must possess the ability to work independently, in a team environment and with various organizational levels. In addition:

  • Prepare and present financial forecasts, reports and analysis.
  • Prepare on-contract growth proposals for customers. Work closely with other functional areas on financial related elements while, managing a programs general ledger, and monitoring a programs cash flow.
  • Develop and drive financial forecasts, EACs; Manage subcontractor and analyzing the programs revenue and costs.
  • Help Program Managers identify programmatic risk and opportunities that will impact program financials while recommending cost reductions and ways to mitigating risk.
  • Responsible for financial performance of the program to include the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Monthly/Quarterly forecast and FP&A activities.
  • Month-end closings and variance/trend analysis
  • Cash management to include timely submittal of invoices, collections and unbilled reduction.
  • Deliverables: Estimate at Completion (EACs), Quarterly Financial Status Reviews (QFSR), monthly and quarterly business reviews (IPR), AOP and Quarterly Forecast.
  • Pricing for on contract growth for contracts
  • Lead and supervise financial analysts on team
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8-12 years of experience related to Program Finance or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Familiar with multiple contract types, such as FFP, LOE, CPFF, and T&M.
  • Detail oriented, independent worker, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
  • Government contracting industry experience
  • US citizenship is required and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

  • Experience with Leidos Financial Systems and Processes: Costpoint, Fusion, Deltek,
  • Excel Expertise and PowerPoint Presentations
Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
