Main accountabilities:
Keep track of local feasibilities linked to scientific and strategical company operations.
Coordinate operation tasks to ensure feasibility activities within required timelines.
Communicate with internal (Director Site Management & Monitoring (DSMM), Site Engagement Leader (SEL), Medical Affairs (MA), Start-up Team (Ethical and Regulatory) and external stakeholders (Key External Experts (KEE) and/or Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), Global Team of portfolio management).
Coordinate site list review with DSMM, SEL and MA.
Lead scientific discussion on study design, country patient journey, and risks with KEEs and sites.
Consolidate feasibility results and feedback within required timelines.
Provide proposed commitment and share risks and opportunities highlighted in the feasibility to Country Head (CH)/DSMM for approval.
Archive feasibility documentation.
Identify high (no go) risk sites proposed by the feasibility team, if applicable.
Ensure feedback to feasibility questions/comments is received from the Global Team and conveyed back to the sites.
Closer interface and synergically active seeking with Medical Affairs Team (Medical and/or Product Managers, Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL).
Definition of competitive landscape (internal and external) with effective participation into the colocation strategy of studies in different sites (based on competitive or complementary clinical trials).
Responsible to the expansion of new studies on those locations/sites in which AstraZeneca does not operates yet.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in health area;
Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English (Fluent or Advanced is required);
Excellent knowledge on Oncology is required (industry, hospital or academic);
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is appreciated.
