We are seeking a Senior Hardware & Network Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role requires a specialist technician with extensive experience in hardware and Network Maintenance across multi-provider servers and networks. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience and be adept at maintaining large systems and managing printers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance of servers at the hardware level.
• Utilize management and configuration tools (GSP, MP, ILO, RSA, IMM, DRAC, ASMI, HMC).
• Provide technical advice and perform microcode updates for clients in environments including Sun Microsystems, Sun Entry, and Sun Fire Partitioning.
• Maintain and repair servers and storage from various brands (NetApp, EMC, Sun).
• Manage services and virtual machines on the VMware platform.
• Configure and manage users on the corporate server.
• Modify and layout the corporate website.
• Manage and maintain the local network.
• Oversee warehouse management and order fulfillment.
• Handle product transfers between displaced warehouses.

Qualifications

• Technician in Computer Systems Administration or FP Graduate.
• Experience in technology-related roles:
  • Server repair and maintenance
  • Management and configuration tools usage
  • Technical advice to end clients
• Experience with various server and storage brands.
• Experience in managing services on VMware.
• Experience in network management and local Network Maintenance.
• Experience in warehouse management and logistics.

Skills Required

• Proactive attitude with leadership skills.
• Ability to engage in direct dialogue with clients.
• Native Spanish speaker.
• Conversational English (B2 level).

Education Requirements

• Courses in hardware and system environments such as DELL, HP, NetApp, CISCO, HUAWEI, Juniper, ENC, FUJITSU, SUN.
• Valued certifications in any of the mentioned environments.
• Additional training such as:
  • DS8k series course (IBM Training)
  • Sun Fire Server Partitioning Course (MVS Education-COC Rome)
  • Storage & N series IBM Course (IBM Schools)
  • Advanced Xseries Course (ITS Services Schools)
  • Office automation course (CEA Center)
  • Master in Programming, Computer Class.
