Since 2010, when the Securities Services area began operating, the Brazilian unit has the largest number of business lines in Latin America, making it one of the Group's largest operations in emerging markets. Today, in Brazil, the Group is present with the areas of Corporate and Institutional Banking, Asset Management, Insurance (Cardif) and Fleet Management (Arval).
Currently, the BNP Paribas Group has around 1400 employees in the country. In Brazil, it is among the largest international investment banks in total assets (R$ 112.5 billion, Jun/23, Prudential Conglomerate, Central Bank), offering a diversity of products and multiple solutions to its clients.
Head of Global Banking IT Brazil
- Responsible for Brazil Global Banking IT Team.
- Provide management support to the team;
- Relationship with internal stakeholders and external vendors;
• Define and prioritize the pipeline of the projects with business and IT stakeholders
• Close work with internal/global technical teams (including but not limited to Architecture, Applications, Middleware, Network, Security) to identify existing solutions and integrations/developments required - Responsible for Project management of Local, Regional and Global projects; project planning, budget & risk control, elaboration of RFP's and SLA's, revision of contracts with suppliers, involving demands of projects, backlogs and support.- Provide support to the Business in the viability and implementation of new products;
- Responsible for the preparation of project study and business cases elaboration, providing support to the Business in the viability and implementation of new projects and submit Project in Local and Global Architecture Committee approvals and Investment Committee;
Align business requirement with IT strategic initiatives;
• Responsible for high level solution design and scope definition, aligned with Target System Architecture
• Lead the team in the requirements analysis process, elaboration of functional and technical specifications, monitoring of development deliveries, plan and execution of tests, User Acceptance support and deployment of solutions in production; - Project Governance Controls and Monitoring in adherence to the IT Governance policies and standards;
- Presentation of Executive Meetings related to the project portfolio of the area, new initiatives of the business and team activities, presenting KPIs monitoring results, according to best IT governance practices;
- Manage IT and Cyber security risks related to the applications under his/her scope
- Definition of Global Banking IT strategy for Brazil;
- Budget Definition and Control.
Position Requirements:
- Higher Education
- Fluent English
- Previous experience with team Management
- Previous experience in IT In Finance Industry
- Experience with business analysis, functional and architecture specification and application testing
- Strong background in Project Management
- Conflict resolution skills
- Good teamwork skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
