This role demands not only a deep understanding Of Marketing Analytics but also technical prowess, including expertise in model development using machine learning and artificial intelligence. Reporting directly to the SVP, Head of Marketing, you will play a key leadership role within the Marketing Leadership team. Lead decision science frameworks, apply data science techniques to optimize growth and spend efficiency goals, and collaborate closely with channel leads to integrate insights across various marketing channels. Your technical acumen will shine as you spearhead a robust testing agenda, utilizing data-driven methodologies to refine and enhance marketing strategies. Additionally, identify, measure, and scale expansion opportunities through advanced data insights, showcasing your proficiency in machine learning and artificial intelligence. We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in Marketing Analytics and data science, preferably in the financial services sector, who can bring both strategic vision and technical expertise to shape OppFi's success. If you are passionate about the convergence Of Marketing Analytics and data science, with a strong focus on technical innovation, we invite you to apply and lead our team in driving impactful outcomes and scalable solutions.Responsibilities:Leadership in Analytics and Decision Science: Provide strategic direction by leading decision science frameworks for effective credit-based marketing. Oversee the application of advanced analytics and data science methodologies to inform marketing strategies.Technical Innovation and Model Development: Showcase technical prowess by developing and implementing models using machine learning and artificial intelligence. Drive innovation in data science techniques to optimize growth and spend efficiency goals.Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate closely with channel leads, integrating data science insights across diverse marketing channels. Play a key role within the Marketing Leadership team, contributing to the overall strategic vision of OppFiTesting Agenda and Optimization: Spearhead a robust testing agenda, using data-driven methodologies to refine and enhance marketing strategies. Implement advanced measurement approaches to ensure the success Of Marketing initiatives.Expansion Opportunities Through Data Insights: Identify, measure, and scale expansion opportunities through advanced data-driven insights. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, leveraging data science for scalable marketing solutions.Qualifications:Experience developing custom models based on an in-depth understanding of the underlying data and business problems to ensure analytics deliverables meet stakeholders' needs.Experience with causal inference measurement methodologies (a/b and multivariate testing, customer-level synthetic control groups, Google Causal Inference, geo-based a/b testing).Experience leveraging big data technologies and modern data visualization tools (Tableau) to blend data from multiple sources to help answer multi-dimensional business questions.Experience developing machine learning, statistical, and optimization algorithms to solve complex business problems.Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead complex projects with a high degree of ambiguity.Experience working with cross-functional teams.Experience designing rapid experiments and iterating quicklyRequired:7+ years of experience in data science or analytics.
