Leads HR Services operations in Brazilian HR front office and drives operations, delivering high-quality services against agreed performance targets. Accountable for meeting the global standards for HR Services operations, ensuring the legal and regulatory requirements adherence in Brazilian HR area.
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end payroll cycles and hire-to-retire control ownership.
- Accountable for HR operations including the HR contact center (Ask HR/Service Now Platform) in Brazil.
- Ensures all HR processes incorporate appropriate control mechanisms, including 4-eye-check / SOX checks, data protection (GDPR/LGPD) and country legal/regulatory compliance tasks.
- Is accountable to implement global initiatives like acquisitions, divestments, new policies, etc. in the respective team.
- Contributes to global projects by offering local expertise and knowledge (functional, technical) and supports collaboration across different functions.
- Plans the development of the operations, and further refines the operating model, organizational structure, and governance model by improvement activities such as training, knowledge transfer and regular quality checks.
- Exchanges constantly with different stakeholders to assess the HR proposition and the service to customers with a view to improving delivery through innovation and the implementation of industry best practice.
- Management of own department: Defines and drives the people management strategy of the HR front office (e.g., workforce planning, training, engagement, mentoring, succession planning, incentives, and retention). Drives financial management including budgeting, forecasting and cost management and is accountable to meet the given budget.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration or similar with relevant Human Resources experience.
- Previous experience with HR Operations including payroll management and personnel administration through all employee lifecycle stages.
- Continuous improvement methodologies and mindset (e.g. Lean Six Sigma or similar).
- Previous people management experience.
- Successful track record in managing HR Services within multinational organizations with different business units and complex reporting lines.
- Fluent Portuguese and English. Spanish is a plus.
