As the Human Resources Manager, you will lead the Human Resources function for our IPSD production facilities in Curitiba, Retail Electric Power Soultions (REPS) Piracicaba and IPSD Commerical office in Sao Paulo.  

Your purpose is to lead and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, provide guidance on HR policies and practices, and foster a culture of employee engagement and engagement development.

Job Profile / Activities:

  • Collaborating with management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.

  • Aligning HR policies and programs for their business unit or region which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.

  • Acting as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.

  • Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.

  • Leading team of HR professionals to collaborate effectively with other Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR.

  • Lead the Environmental Health and Safety team and provide leadership, mentoring and direction to hourly, salaried and management personnel engaged in Environmental, Health and/or Safety (EHS) activities.

  • Leads the labor contract negotiations and agreements for the Curitiba facility, implements and administers the organizations management-labor relations programs to improve union related matters.

Basic Qualifications

Education: Bachelor Degree

Experience: 5+ years of job-related experience.

Language: English Pre-Advanced.

Business Acumen: Extensive Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Knowledge of Organization: Extensive Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Influencing: Extensive Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
Human Resources Consulting: Extensive Knowledge of HR approaches, tools and techniques; ability to inform, guide and advise managers in HR-related initiatives.
