Job Summary:

Act as a strategic partner to the Business Head and manage the implementation of HR strategy at the respective business / function and in order to facilitate the achievement of business goals.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in discussions with Business / Function Leaders for finalizing strategic priorities for the financial year.
  • Translate business / function priorities into key HR priorities and chart out the HR plan for the year by incorporating aspects of overall HR strategy and Business / function specific requirements.
  • Prepare a manpower plan for the business in accordance with current and future business requirements.
  • Manage implementation of the talent acquisition process, in line with central talent acquisition guidelines (talent sourcing, short listing, interviewing, selection, offer processing, on-boarding activities)
  • Ensure Compliances to all local statutory requirements from the labor aspect.
  • Help in the annual budget process for Brazil and Peru markets.
  • Do salary benchmarking of local pharma companies and share inferences with corporate HR team.
  • Determine new hire compensation, compensation benchmarks, retentions, seek business / central approval and implement.
  • Conduct employee onboarding surveys, engagement surveys, etc. to evaluate engagement level of employees, address gaps by strategizing and deploying an action plan.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of business needs in terms of capabilities, map existing gaps and guide the development of L&D plan for the region. Facilitate training, collect training feedback & conduct ROI analysis.
  • Drive the annual Goal setting, Mid-year & performance appraisal process for the region in strict adherence to the specified timelines. Implement and communicate annual increment decisions, in conjunction with Business Head
  • Ensure employee queries are addressed in a prompt manner and escalate to senior management where applicable.
  • Initiate and manage disciplinary proceedings in cases of employee misconduct.
  • Manage separation (termination / resignation) process for employees and drive analytics from data gathered in exit interviews.

Relevant Skills & Experience:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Human Resource Management/ Labor Management
  • 5-7 years of experience

Required Skillset for the role

• Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

• Excellent project management skills.
