Aboutthe role:
We have an excellent opportunity for a Embedded SoftwareDevelopment Intern to be part of our 12 months internship program in ourinnovative and friendly team in Horsham, West Sussex, working as part of an agile teamdeveloping the next generation of our industry leading building energymanagement systems.
You will be working alongside other developers andarchitects as part of a scrum team enhancing features on our latest range of BEMScontrollers. Working in C++ and modelling Object Orientated software with UMLwithin CASE development tools you will be focusing on communications protocols,IOT and control algorithms in our systems flagship products.
This role would suit a computer science or softwareengineering student with a passion for embedded software development who islooking for real product engineering experience.
Desired skills:
- Strong and confident communicator
- Highly computer literate
- An understanding of Software Engineering processes and practices
- Able to understand and apply complex analytical methods
- Ability to demonstrate interest in an Engineering hobby or skillset would be desirable
- Well organised
- Work accurately with excellent attention to detail under minimum supervision
- Passion to learn and grow in the industrial field selected
- The ability to effectively work as part of a team and on your own
Desired qualifications:
Completed or in process of completing a Computer Science or Software Engineering degree
