Responsibilities
- Support the deployment and execution of International Mobility assignment processes for Germany (assignment lifecycle, immigration, tax, legal- including posted worker legislation, social security, health insurance).
- Deploy employees on the applicable International Mobility policies by liaising with the business to determine the best suited mobility assignment to support the business need
- Support the business/HR/recruitment in understanding mobility policies (and alternatives), including regulatory requirements, mobility costs and budgets as well as business specific mobility issues.
- Advise, educate and consult with internal stakeholders on German immigration matters and compliance, processing requirements and the ability to obtain work permits for new hires, international transfers and assignees.
- Initiate and coordinate immigration applications for visa/ work permit / residence permit application with internal stakeholder and the immigration provider ICUnet.
- Responsible for managing the relationship between internal and external partners. Vendor management
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality International Mobility services to mobile population assigned to/ from Germany
- Coordinate with tax providers, Eviden stakeholders and International Mobility Teams in respect of tax compliance services.
- Work in partnership with the International Mobility Teams across all regions as well as with the International Mobility support team
Required Skills And Experience
- Excellent English and German
- Experience within the field of international assignments, global mobility, or expatriate management would be considered as strong advantage
- Understanding of standard tax, social security, labor law, and immigration regulations applicable to internally mobile employees. Knowledge of German tax and legal rules would be a plus.
- Understanding of payroll topics applicable to international assignments would be an advantage
- Knowledge in compensation and benefits matters linked to international assignments, would be an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Tax and Law, Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or equivalent degree would be an advantage
