Credit Saison Co. Ltd. is a large Japanese non-bank with an AUM of c.$30bn engaging in credit card issuing/acquiring, SME financing, real estate financing, and various Fintech investments and alternative finance. Over the recent years, Credit Saison has been successfully ramping up its private debt investments in Southeast Asia and India, offering senior debt capital to new age lenders, Fintech startups, and tech platforms (embedded finance) with a primary focus on the tech-led innovation and financial inclusion. Credit Saison is now looking to replicate its success of India and Southeast Asia in Brazil by setting up a local investment team.
As Credit Saison Brazil’s portfolio grows in size and complexity, it is imperative that proper operational controls are in place, so that we are able to provide full oversight and transparency to the rest of the group and ensure precision in the delivery of contracted conditions in all transactions.
In that sense, we are looking for someone to be in charge of generating management reports, defining flows and processes to control operations, specifying and monitoring projects with technology and interacting with and managing contracted partners and third parties.
Responsibilities and AssignmentsDaily monitoring and reconciliation of transactions carried out by Credit Saison Brazil, from the moment they are approved, until they are effectively registered, settled and repaid.Participating in the operations deal team, formalization of contracts and custody of credit operations, raising operational issues based on the characteristics and requirements of each transaction.Defining and executing strategies to increase business efficiency and scalability.Managing the execution of the activities of contracted partners and third parties, ensuring quality and compliance with the contract.Interact with different areas of the company to ensure visibility over the portfolio.Prepare regular reports to present relevant information to the management team, such as financial performance, key metrics, and strategic insights.

Desired BackgroundGraduation in Administration, Economics or EngineeringAt least 4 years of experience in investment management or back office of financial institutions, dealing with custody of fixed income assets and alternative investments
