Job responsibilities 
•    Technical SME in one or more projects/implementation work as requested and assigned.
•    Responsible for the configuration support, maintenance and setup of application modules. 
•    Analyzes internal customers’ needs and helps guide and recommend on existing Syneos solutions.
•    Identify, investigate and contribute to improvement opportunities to achieve optimal service delivery.
•    Escalates issues to the appropriate team members as required or necessary. Acts as the escalation point for support issues to the appropriate third party vendors as assigned.
•    Resolves trouble tickets assigned and assist with solving end-user issues as needed.
•    Follows process flows based on the ITIL guidelines and adapted to the Company environment.
•    Meeting service level expectations set by the supervisor and by the business.
•    Collaborates with other BT support groups and other business groups to fulfill operational requests and issues.
•    Participates in development of training plan by using internal and external resources for career development and business support purposes. Maintains current knowledge of technology trends.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
•    Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more technology used in the Syneos environment.
•    Awareness of incident and request management, within an IT Service Management role. 
•    Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills.
•    Must be a self-starter and be willing to take accountability for projects, problems and issues.
•    Relevant certifications preferred. 
•    Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. 
•    Demonstrated experience working within an enterprise level IT organization strongly preferred.
