As Solution Engineer / Business Analyst you will be able to combine your deep capacity to understand and capture user needs and translate to the team to secure we deliver quality assured solutions for GTO Europe &Brazil Manufacturing and GTO Powertrain Production.
Your focus will be to collaborate with stakeholders, analyze their needs and support implementati on of solutions in both writing and visualization of designs. You will work with cross-functional product teams, giving you an opportunity to share your knowledge and ideas of improvements in a larger context.
You have a logical, analytical and creative approach to problems and the ability to communicate with customers,colleagues and management to explain complex issues.
Who are you?

• Relevant experience as an IT Business Analyst, you are passionate about translating business needs and processes to be developed through IT solutions;
• Ability to present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations in verbal, written, and presentation formats using storytelling and logical arguments;
• Good understanding of formalized methods for specification (e.g., Use Case Modelling, User Stories,etc), tools and Soft ware Engineering as a whole;
• Curiosity and analytical mindset - ability to ask the right questions, identify relevant sources, combine data sets, and present conclusions;
• You have the ability to conduct meetings and is a good presenter;
• Your experience with Agile and Azure will be highly appreciated;
• You know in an overall level the Industry 4.0 pillars;
• Experience in data visualizati on tools will be considered a plus.

Your main activities and responsibilities:

• Close collaboration with business representatives from the Digital & IT department to ensure high quality, stable and secure solutions;
• Gather and clarify requirements from business stakeholders about new functionaliti es;
• Deliver formal system requirement specifications (functional and non-functional) and manage these specifications throughout the application's life cycle;
• Establish a requirements management plan;
• Analyze processes and data structures to validate the feasibility of demanded solutions and contribute to the design of data models and reporting solutions;
• Work in close collaboration with Data Team (Engineers, Scientist, Architects) and End-users.
• Provideinput to visual design related to the End-user perspecti ve and also with a mainframe team;
• Approve the delivery of User Stories and lead the executi on of User Acceptance Tests;
• Advise the business users with regards to front-end tools and data visualizations, dashboards;
• Actively participate in all agreed agile events and support the business on finding techniques for effective Product Goal definition and new features in collaboration with the Squad;
• Propose changes that make the system more efficient and/or reduces operation or maintenance cost;
• Gather functional and non-functional (including security) requirements from the stakeholders;
• Ensure compliance with relevant Digital & IT processes, methods and tools and business processes;
• Ensure applicable IT security directive is followed for the service;
• Create good practices and propose improvements using VPS (Volvo Production System) mindset and tools;
• Fully support the migration of legacy applications and work on innovation ideas based on Industry 4.0,specially Data Analytics;

Requirements:
Education

• Proficient English and Fluent Portuguese, both written and spoken;
• Relevant university degree in IT;
• Agile certification.
