Honeywell Connected Enterprise is looking for an experienced, energetic, and innovative Advanced Software Engineer for developing and maintaining innovative Cloud based software applications.
This is a Hybrid position in Richmond, VA. Must be a US Citizen or Green card holder.
Responsibilities:
- Be a part of Honeywell’s world class team of software engineers as we advance business position as a market leader in software forming the foundation of the Internet of Things
- Participate in implementation of next generation software technology and SaaS platform.
- Collaborate with a globally distributed engineering team.

YOU MUST HAVE
- At least 3 years of current Java development experience (Should currently be active Java developer historical Java development experience will not help)
- SpringBoot and Microservice firsthand experience in API development
- Basic SQL skills - Ability to write SQL queries and understand debug stored procedures.
WE VALUE
- Microsoft Azure Certification
- Microsoft Azure administration and app hosting experience
- Java Script and REACT JS
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Java development experience using Spring Framework and Hibernate ORM
- Familiar with GitHub JIRA, Kubernetes
- Experience with Test Driven Design
