Your Role Within Our Kingdom

We are looking for an exceptional Live Operations specialist willing to develop their skills to build exciting in- game experiences, and to support Candy Crush Saga most strategic initiatives (Seasonal and regular live ops events and Partnerships).

Working within the Consumer Marketing team and the CCS Events Area to deliver and optimize a world- class experience for our players. As part of the Live Ops team you will enjoy a creative, challenging and collaborative environment where your creativity, energy and ideas will be every bit as valued.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop exciting and innovative planfor seasonal events together with marketing and game teams
  • Coordinate the creation of seasonal event assets (graphics, copy, translation)
  • Coordinate QA of seasonal events to ensure highest quality of live events
  • Work together with the operations team to ensure successful launch and monitoring of live events
  • Collaborate with the Analytics team to monitor event performance, identify & share key insights, iterate and optimize
  • Work together with data analytics, design teams and the game studio to expand and improve the events portfolio
  • Support the Live Ops team in the new concept ideation and launching of new events
  • Report on KPI metrics, such as monetization, engagement, and reach.

The position reports into the Sr Live Operations manager in Barcelona.

Skills to Create Thrills

We are looking for individuals who find all aspects of building in- game experiences fascinating. Your role involves understanding how different pillars of game development work together to deliver a unique experience, from concept and ideation to testing and fully launching.

Key qualifications include:

  • A passion for F2P mobile games, especially casual genre
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Prior experience in F2P gaming industry
  • Excellent English writing, editing and communication skills.
  • You are a true team player but have the ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail as deliverables are shared with key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Looker or similar reporting tool, as well as an understanding of what makes good data visualization

  • Cultural: You will be smart, hard- working, low- ego and able to work in a fast- based business environment.
  • Industry: You will have experience of working within a consumer internet business with a substantial customer base, and broad set of products or services.
  • Highly numerate: You will be very comfortable evaluating and optimizing campaigns in a quantitatively robust manner. You will know how to leverage test and learn approaches to your campaigns.
  • International experience: King is a very international business (there are Candy Crush Saga players in Antarctica!) - so candidates with strong international experience are desirable.

This role is based in our Barcelona office, but some travel may be required.
