Department : UK Supply Chain

JOB TITLE: Logistics Coordinator UK

Reports to UK Logistics manager


JOB DIMENSIONS

ACTIVITIES

• Warehouse and Transport (Bostik UK and sister companies)

• Validation of Haulier & 3pl invoices and data.

• Manage the freight invoice queries and investigation process.

• Support in the input & administration for imports & export deliveries.

• Support the Logistic manager with the selection and setup of new Haulier suppliers.

• Work with Logistics Manager & Supply Chain Director to optimize the Network Distribution Model.

• Work with Supply Chain and Customer Service teams to determine best in class customer experience & order fulfilment.

• Support UK Logistics manager in the compliance of Transportation of Dangerous Goods, and Haulier onsite compliance.

• CHEP Pallets: responsible for reconciliation activities [reporting and liaison with CHEP].

• Consignment Warehouse [Wickes]: support reconciliation activities [reporting and liaison with Wickes]

• Monitor the logistics Dashboards, investigate, and resolve blockages.

• Monitor & Support intercompany export logistics flows

• Maintain Freight Rate Tables and additional ADHOC charges.

• Monitor and Maintain transport route master data.

• Investigation of warehouse returns and coordination of follow up actions

• Handling of day to day Logistics related service issues & problem resolution.

 

Context and environment

• Role covering a diverse and complex UK logistic footprint

• Working in matrix organization involving local, regional teams, Bostik and Arkema teams

• Direct work with main Third Party Logistic provider and other transport and warehouse suppliers

• Deputise for UK Logistics Manager

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 3 years’ experience in Transport and Warehousing environment is desirable.

• Process and KPIs creation

• IT - Microsoft Suite- Proficient in excel

• SAP experience desirable.

• Inventory / Stock control

• Fluent English

• Collaborative work ethic

• Autonomy
