The Digital Identification & Traceability team part of the Global Site and Supply Chain Services team within Johnson & Johnson Technical Operations & Risk is now hiring a Manager, Digital Identification & Traceability (DI&T).

The Digital Identification & Traceability team is part of the Global Site and Supply Chain Services team within Johnson & Johnson Technical Operations & Risk.

We provide end-to-end enterprise digital capabilities to enable connectivity across our supply chain in a compliant, effective, and efficient way.

The Digital Identification & Traceability (DI&T) team is responsible for bridging the physical to our digital supply chain, delivering value by developing and leveraging our digital capabilities to engage with our customers, and shaping internal and external environments with our expertise.

We work closely with different functions across Johnson & Johnson globally to enhance our customer experience.

Reporting to the senior manager, DI&T (Global Data Synchronization, GS1, Serialization & Traceability, Digital Labeling or Unique Device Identification), this associate will be responsible for leading the scoping activities for new compliance regulations and customer requirements and modifications to existing regulations and customer requirements.

The Lead will work with other DI&T team members, vendors, JJT, and multiple functional representatives, as well as business partners from the operating companies.

The role will be critical to enhancing data quality shared by customers both internal and external to generate business value for customers and J&J business partners.

As well as enhancing our digital capability in support of compliance & regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities :

  • Gather business inputs and requirements from cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders to define and assess business requirements for system-to-system connectivity (data modelling, data mapping) & engage with technology partners to develop solutions and roadmaps.
  • Prioritize regional portfolio for implementations, develop capital appropriation requests, plan approvals and drive regional / local engagement
  • Coordinate and provide business input to process design and requirements gathering (including KPIs) and user acceptance testing (scripts and test conduct).
  • Provide customer satisfaction through effective understanding, and knowledge of the GS1 standards, GDS capabilities, and their application to use cases including eProcurement, inventory management, bedside scanning, and product traceability, UDI regulatory & digital submission requirements, J&J Digital submission capabilities
  • Troubleshooting system operations with user community
  • Lead projects to timely delivery and within budget while coordinating tasks across functions and geographies
  • Help create and maintain comprehensive metrics and track issues, problem solving resolutions, and communicate timelines effectively
  • Develop SOP’s, education, and training for GS1 Standards

Qualifications

Required :

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of professional experience, with 3+ years experience participating in large, cross functional projects that include a significant technology component
  • Experience synthesizing large quantities of data and processing technical information to communicate cogent recommendations to multiple organisational levels
  • Supply Chain experience
  • Experience writing SOPs using good documentation practices
  • Experience connecting to and extracting data from APIs
  • Knowledge of database systems (SAP, Cloudera Hadoop), database structures, relational databases, Azure data factory, data modelling & data mapping between systems
  • Experience with validated system change control and development including Agile framework & processes

Preferred :

  • Experience with Data Analytics and Visualisation software (Tableau, Excel, Power BI, Alteryx)
  • Knowledge of objective oriented programming (R, Python, JAVA)
  • Experience with JIRA methodology
  • Project management experience

Other :

  • This role will require up to 10% of travel
  • The anticipated base pay for this position is $99,000.00 to $149,702.00
