Your Mission:
Our team works closely to customer technical team on developing detectors that run on GCP infrastructure. The goal is to identify potential configuration flaws that could lead to security incidents.
The team also manages the backlog, and members are responsible for handling tasks and understanding the scope of work, without explicit roles like Scrum Master, Architect, or QA. You'll work on evolving and maintaining the front end of the Security Command Center, which contains security best practices used by major global companies.
Therefore, each individual is responsible for the ENTIRE software engineering process of their task:
- Regular participation in meetings with the client in English
- Understanding client documentation/demands and extracting the backlog
- Refining tasks
- Proposing task/demand solutions
- Negotiating deadlines and solutions with the client
- Keeping tracking tools updated
- Ensuring criteria for 'done'
- Writing integration tests
- Documenting
- Testing the solution in the available environment
You need to have experience with:
Observables
Experience with Typescript
Understanding and detailing customer needs, communicating in English
Conducting experiments and proof of concepts, validating product behavior, anticipating potential development hurdles
Code reviews
Conducting tests
Writing technical documentation.
The development work takes place within the client's internal environment, using proprietary and market-based tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with GraphQL
Experience in GCP
Capability to communicate in English (CEFR B2)
You stand out if you have:
Possession of any GCP certifications
Backend development knowledge (Java 8 or later)
Familiarity with protobuf
Familiarity with RPC
Understanding of cloud infrastructure security
Enjoyment of quick learning (and utilizing) technologies different from those you already know.
