WHAT YOU'LL DO
The MDP People Team Assistant is a pivotal member of the MDP People Team, responsible for various tasks in MDP HR and recruiting/integration, along with contributing to ad hoc projects. Ideal candidates will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and excellent written and oral communication. They will also be thoughtful, resourceful, and creative problem solvers.
The MDP People Team Assistant will be the engine that drives key team processes by updating and maintaining mission critical trackers, running key reports, managing complex calendars, and maintaining communication cadences among other tasks. They will work closely with well calibrated team members, and as they master the nuances of the position, they will gain opportunities to work independently and autonomously, and have opportunities for true thought partnership.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Help drive MDP HR, Depart, Recruiting, and Integration processes, tracking key information in real time, keeping historical perspectives, and managing future to-do’s
Communicate effectively across cohorts and levels including but not limited to MDPs, local HR, IT, Executive Assistants, and various local and regional teams
Maintain mission-critical Excel, Trello, and OneNote trackers
Monitor and track Workday (WD) activities related to MDP processes – run reports and catch discrepancies
Process confidential employee documentation for MDP hires, transfers, and departs
Assist with general inquiries pertaining to MDP hires, transfers, and departs
Help manage the MDP HR and Integration calendars
Support MDP PT duties and ad hoc projects as needed
Maintain a high level of confidentiality due to access to sensitive information.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
1-3 year’s support/administrative experience, in human resources or similar function
Exceptional organizational skills, with an unwavering attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
Excellent communication and reading comprehension skills, ensuring a deep understanding of complex documents, effective information processing, and clear and concise communication with senior executives
Ability to prioritize and plan work activities effectively, producing high-quality output even under competing priorities
Ability to perform well under pressure, take initiative, and handle multiple tasks with tact and composure
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop effective working relationships with team and staff at all levels; demonstrating active listening skills, adaptability, and empathy
Maturity and professionalism; ability to recognize and maintain highly confidential information
Commitment to client service and exceeding expectations
Strong basic Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, Tables, Lookup formulas, simple data validation techniques, etc.)
Strong Outlook skills (e.g. ability to maintain an active and complex inbox and calendar)
Proficiency in Trello, OneNote, Alteryx, and/or Tableau a bonus but not required

The MDP People Team is a small group with an outsized impact. We oversee a range of critical processes, including MDP recruiting, hiring, integration, departures, and HR, as well as the processes for MDP and Partner evaluations and promotions. As a part of this team, you will collaborate closely with the leaders of our firm, offering you a rare and comprehensive view of BCG’s people strategy and operations.
BCG Nexus is an exciting new office based in Atlanta, GA, that is part of executing best-in-class operations serving the broader BCG business. Various regional and global functional teams will be co-located in a dynamic and engaging space that enables team members to connect with and serve our BCG and client customer base. Resident teams include regional functions (NAMR Administrative and Executive Assistants, Visual Services and Design, Finance, Executive Placement Services, HR/Immigration) as well as global functions (including Safety and Security, Innovations, IT).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Format Information:
This role currently requires 3 days a week in office presence. This provides flexibility the remaining 40% of the work week. This hybrid work plan allows for critically important learning, collaboration, and networking with our colleagues. Specific days in the office are agreed upon by the team.
Compensation Information:
Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
