The Navigation Solutions Sales Executive is responsible for generating demand and driving solution value to match a prospect’s strategy in an assigned territory for Alight’s Healthcare Navigation solution opportunities and positioning Alight to win the work. Further, the right candidate must be confident in pursuing sales efforts in new logo growth and leading sale strategy efforts for existing Alight clients within a team. The right candidate must possess a demonstrated ability in operating at all organization levels and buying centers that influence the solutions being contemplated.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set and execute the sales strategy for assigned territory and lead the development of a sales plan targeting organizations where a Navigation opportunity is likely to exist to achieve assigned quota

  • Gain deep understanding of the Navigation Solutions by taking the time to lean and understand how the solution solves for day-to-day issues, plan sponsors and members face with the ability to then craft a story and value proposition that is presented driving awareness and excitement in market

  • Regarded as a thought leader, staying current with new trends and developments within area of expertise

  • Recommends changes and improvements to organizational processes and procedures

  • Effectively utilize lead generation team and other sales support resources at the appropriate time in the selling process

  • Demonstrate strong sales strategy ability by crafting and presenting client offers and helping the team identify and navigate alternative paths to making the sale

  • Keeps abreast of updates and changes to the technology and applies this appropriately in sales strategy and execution

  • Maximize the use (both individually and with the team) of sanctioned tools including but not limited to Salesforce.com

  • Will require travel up to 50% dependent on client needs.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience

  • Exhibits excellent skills throughout all stages of a consultative selling process, including deep solution understanding, pipeline management, strong negotiation skills and the ability to close opportunities

  • Sells value over price by providing deep insight about how the service will impact the client’s business

  • Strong internal and external communication and presentation skills, with the ability to listen comprehensively and deliver clear instructions and/or recommendations

  • Excellent selling and sales strategy skills, ability to define key value add strategies and lead in a team sales situation

  • Ability to manage multiple, complex sales processes at the same time

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Advanced Degree is preferred and/or equivalent work-related experience and success.

Work Experience

  • 5-8+ years’ experience leading complex consultative sales processes with documented results to plan

  • Proven experience in the areas of: Navigation, Health Point Solutions, Digital Health, Consumer Experience, Employee Benefits, Payroll, or Cloud administration required

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $128,100.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $203,300.00/year (for full-time employees).
